Introduction:
The effectiveness of the pheromone depends greatly on the trap used. Ispahani Agro Ltd. has developed pheromone traps based on the principles of water traps developed by the Bangladesh Agricultural Research Institute, which are more effective and durable in controlling various harmful insects.

Characteristics:

• This trap is made on the standard of Bangladesh Agriculture Research Institutes' origin water trap.
• The trap looks like a bucket with two parts: cap & body. 
• Cap is round & Color red.
• The body is transparent & two sides cut as triangle size.
• Easy to transport.
• Can use for all kinds of pheromone pesticide.

Procedure for hanging and placing pheromone bait on the trap:

• The pheromone lure/bait should be hung from the wire along the middle of the triangular cut part of the trap.
• Add soapy water to the bottom of the trap so that the bait is 1 inch above the water.
• It is best to keep the triangular cut along the north-south direction.
• After 4/5 days, the soapy water with dead insects should be thrown away and new water mixed with powdered soap should be given.
• The pheromone trap should be tied tightly to two poles or hung from the tree at the height where the flowers and fruits are.
